About Stingray
Stingray Geophysical provides reliable, cost-effective seismic Permanent Reservoir Monitoring (seismic PRM) solutions to the global oil and gas industry, enabling companies to improve their production and increase hydrocarbon reserves while reducing risk and cost.

Stingray holds the exclusive licence to apply unique fibre-optic sensing technology, originally developed for submarine defence applications, to Seismic PRM and related upstream oil and gas applications.

Fibre-optic solutions are inherently more reliable and robust than electrical alternatives, particularly in harsh subsea environments. The Stingray FosarĀ® system uses proprietary technology to deploy a high number of seismic sensors on a small number of optical fibres. This enables easy deployment of large sensor arrays with lightweight seabed equipment and small umbilicals to surface recording equipment, minimising installation effort, operational risk and surface footprint.

Stingray has successfully concluded offshore sea trials and a rigorous qualification testing programme that demonstrates the high quality geophysical response, ease of installation and operations and scalability of the system. Fosar delivers full-wave seismic imaging for detailed reservoir characterisation, monitoring and management.
