BY ROAD

From London on A3 and M25 (J10) (travelling South)

  1. Exit the A3 where sign posted to The University of Surrey, The Cathedral, The Hospital and The Research Park (do not take earlier exits signed to Guildford).

  2. Take the third exit off the Cathedral roundabout. Drive through the underpass, below A3.

  3. Go straight across the next two roundabouts, the second of which will bring you onto Gill Avenue (the Hospital will be on your right).

  4. At the top of Gill Avenue you come onto The Surrey Research Park.

  5. The Surrey Technology Centre is the first building on the right.

  6. Please ask at reception for a parking permit and directions to the visitor’s car park.

From Portsmouth on A3 (travelling North)

  1. Exit A3 where sign posted to The University of Surrey, The Cathedral, The Hospital and The Research Park.

  2. Take the second exit off the roundabout at the end of slip road.

  3. Go straight across the next roundabout which will bring you onto Gill Avenue (the Hospital will be on your right).

  4. At the top of Gill Avenue you come onto The Surrey Research Park.

  5. The Surrey Technology Centre is the first building on the right.

  6. Please ask at reception for a parking permit and directions to the visitor’s car park.
BY TRAIN

From Heathrow Airport
South West Trains operates a special bus service between Heathrow Airport and Woking station, from where it is a ten-minute train ride to Guildford. The whole journey should last about one hour.

From Gatwick Airport
There are two trains each hour from Gatwick Airport to Guildford. The direct service takes about 40 minutes but you may need to change at Clapham Junction. Click here for online national rail enquiries.

From London Waterloo
Guildford is on the main line from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour. Catch a fast train from Waterloo to Guildford. During weekday daytimes, trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes.

From Guildford Station
Take a taxi (usually parked outside the main entrance) or use the bus service (Guildford Park Road exit). Some buses travel all the way to the Surrey Research Park and others go as far as the hospital, from where it is a short walk to the Research Park.
