Stingray Geophysical will be exhibiting on Stand Y39e as part of the UK Group, Pavilion 4 at the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference 2010, to be held at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

Spanning an exhibition area of 35,000sq.m, this major oil industry forum takes place every two years, attracting in 2008 more than 39,000 professionals and executives searching for new technologies and management practices in the oil and gas arena. This will be the second in a regular series of Events which reside in the zone of overlap between Exploration, Technology and Business.  The event will comprise a Conference on Day 1, followed by a Workshop on Day 2 when delegates from a range of disciplines can share their experiences on the transformative effect of new technologies on finding petroleum.

In his talk entitled "The light bulb as a symbol of innovation and other things – how to enlighten your reservoir", Martin Bett will introduce Workshop delegates to Seismic Permanent Reservoir Monitoring and illustrate the impact of fibre-optic sensing technology on reducing risks, costs and data availability timescales to deliver real business value through increased production and total reserves recovery.
